For over a decade, Prime Capital Studios, nestled in the tranquil town of King George, VA, and proudly owned by Kyle Larimore Productions, LLC, has stood as the premier recording center for northern Virginia. PCS has provided musicians, composers, songwriters, and creative visionaries endless opportunities to bring their dreams to life and make their art, voices, and extraordinary talents seen and heard worldwide.

Prime Capital Studios is home to and managed by composer and producer Kyle Larimore, where many of his greatest works have been brought to existence for his well-known artist brand - Kyle Larimore Music.

 

Kyle Larimore, an experienced pianist throughout his life and a seasoned composer for 12 years, has cultivated an environment where creativity thrives, and artistry flourishes. With his dedication, expertise, and passion, Kyle has guided countless artists on their journey to success, helping them achieve their full potential.

Exclusive Rights

The difference between public music and exclusive music for media mainly comes down to licensing, usage rights, and availability.


Public Music

Widely Available: Public music is accessible to anyone, typically through streaming platforms, digital downloads, or public performance.

General Licensing: It is usually licensed through platforms like DistroKid, BMI/ASCAP, or royalty-free music libraries, allowing for broad usage.

Non-Exclusive: Multiple people or companies can license and use the same track.

Examples: Songs on Spotify, royalty-free tracks on music libraries, and production music available for multiple buyers.


Exclusive Music for Media

Restricted Access: Exclusive music is created specifically for a single client, project, or media company.

Custom Licensing: Rights are negotiated between the composer and the client (e.g., a film studio, game developer, or ad agency).

Exclusive Use: Once licensed, the music cannot be used elsewhere or resold.

Higher Payment/Value: Since it’s exclusive, it often commands higher fees than non-exclusive music.

Example: A custom film score, a commissioned ad jingle, or a video game soundtrack owned by the publisher.

This helps to gather a feel for your project and speed up the creation process, as well as reduce unnecessary revisions. Audio files must be uploaded in either .MP3 or .WAV.

Prime Capital Studios Hybrid Price Rates:

Rates are flexible and negotiable upon mutual agreement.

Base Rate: $100/minute, minimum $50/minute, depending on the project length, complexity, and your set budget.

Revision Rate: $100/hour for extra revisions, meetings, or changes beyond the agreed scope. A 10% discount will be applied in increments for more additions beyond the extra 1 hour revision rate. 5.3% Virginia sales tax included.
